11th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
The Pensacola, Florida Blue Angels Pensacola Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) recently held its eleventh annual scholarship golf tournament.
. Ten teams teed off Saturday, September 24th, 2011, at the Scenic Hills Country Club, Pensacola, Florida. Golfers enjoyed a beautiful day and a delicious lunch catered by Scenic Hills.
Thanks to General Manager Rick Gorman, Stephanie Sawyer and other Scenic Hills staff, our valued sponsors, golfers and volunteers, the chapter raised nearly $3,000 for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) scholarships and grants.
To date, the Blue Angels Pensacola Chapter has awarded over $30,000 in scholarships and grants to Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
